This 30-day move with me program starts July 15th, 2022.

Your 30-day program includes:

  • A 30-minute presentation on understanding and tending to a sensitive nervous system.

  • Every day is a different daily trauma-informed movement session (see below)

  • All daily movement sessions are 15-30 minutes

  • A Downloadable interactive PDF allows you have on-going access to all the pre-recorded videos to move when the time is right for you.

  • A Facebook private member page to connect with our community, learn more about BWSS's. projects and explore different ways of healing through health and movement.

This 30-day challenge is a different approach to the traditional sweat challenges. Let's challenge the narrative in our industry around what is accessible, healthy, and what feels strong in our skin.

Let's lean into and learn more about a trauma-informed movement and  how our bodies are connected to systems of oppression in the health, movement and fitness experiences.

Then, let's use the next 30-days as a rallying point to discuss how to improve accessibility and create safe, supportive environments for survivors of all walks of life.

This program is about connection, play, curiosity, sensation and exploring our shapes and, in turn, supporting a great organization.

Weekly Offerings Include:

  • Daily Durability Joint Mobility (FMS, CARs, ONNIT)

  • Durable Movement (Qi Gong, Reflexology, Lymphatic Cleansing)

  • Sensory Strength Training (for home or gym)

  • BREATHE Snacks (weekly featured breathing exercises)

  • Sacred-Self-Care Guest Contributors every Sunday

  • Writing & reflection Prompts for Trauma-Informed Space Holding for Self-Care

What Can You Expect Weekly:

We lay the foundation with an in-depth tour around understanding how to better regulate, tend and befriend the nervous system by applying a trauma-informed lens that emphasizes the importance of intuitive-based movement that can help re-establish safety and strength.

You'll learn to explore, sense and deepen your daily movement practice with a variety of classes and modalities designed to support and guide you towards improving your physical and emotional resilience.

You'll build upon your natural and essential strength. The sensory strength sessions combine play, exploration, curiosity and developmental positioning with the use of strength based tools to create space for conversation, body autonomy and a sense of self through intuitive-based conditioning.

Every Sunday, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about sacred-self-care with on of my carefully chosen guest contributor. These are teachers and knowledge body workers who are doing great work in our community.

This program is for health, movement and fitness enthusiasts, health and fitness practitioners, coaches, trainers, chronic pain movers and anyone who wants to learn more about moving through a trauma-informed lens.
